A 14-year-old girl was arrested after she led Washington State police on a wild high-speed chase. A trooper tried to pull over the teen's SUV around 12:30 a.m. on Friday (November 15) morning when she sped away. She hit speeds above 100 miles per hour as she tried to flee from the officers.

After chasing the teen through side streets, officers deployed a spike strip, which finally brought the pursuit to an end. Once the vehicle had come to a stop, the driver and another passenger got out and tried to escape on foot. They were quickly detained by officers.

Officials say the passenger was also 14-year-old girl who had run away from home. She was released to her parents, while the driver, who was reportedly impaired, was taken to a juvenile detention facility on suspicion of DUI and felony eluding police. She suffered minor injuries while trying to run away from the officers.
