While Taylor Swift's TikTok is most often used for her cats, the "cardigan" singer also uses the platform to shout out her idols. Taking to TikTok to utilize the viral "Mama Said" sound by Lukas Graham, Swift captioned a post with "country girls can't go pop" before showing a collage of images of Shania Twain, as well as a few photos of her and Swift.

Saying in the video's caption that she "learned from the best," the sweetly smiling Swift praised Twain's influence over Swift's iconic career. Swift's crossover from country into pop first began in her record Red, and highlighted the singer's versatile talent. In the time since, Swift has managed to completely reinvent herself through each album and era, only pushing the success of her career. Meanwhile, Twain continues to reign as the best-selling female artist in country music history, and holds the honorary title as "Queen of Country Pop."

While Swift released two albums in 2020, folklore and evermore, the singer has been spending the bulk of 2021 re-recording her first few albums and releasing them one by one. Starting off with her sophomore record, Fearless (Taylor's Version) saw Swift re-releasing her first few biggest hits, including "You Belong With Me." Up until September 23, fans can also get their hands on a signed copy of Fearless (Taylor's Version), which Swift has joked has ruined her hands and made them "frozen in the permanent shape of a claw."

While fans began to expect 1984 next (and, after recently releasing "Wildest Dreams (Taylor's Version)," it appears the full re-recorded record should be arriving sooner rather than later), Swift announced that a 30-track version of Red will be making its arrival on November 13. Completed with songs hidden in her vault from that era (including the first song she and Ed Sheeran ever wrote together) and a 10-minute version of "All Too Well," the countdown to when Red (Taylor's Version) will finally arrive cannot come soon enough.
