A huge part of my childhood is gone..RIP Olivia Newton-John

This one hits hard :( Olivia Newton-John has passed away. She was 73 years old. She passed peacefully at her ranch in Southern California this morning. She was one strong woman, battling breast cancer for 30 years.
Oliva was one of my idols growing up. She was a HUGE part of my childhood. Of course we all remember Grease. Such a great movie. I remember my friends and I would sing the songs at the top of our lungs as we acted out the movie. My favorite tho was Xanadu. I wanted to change my name to Kira so bad. I still listen to that soundtrack in my car all the time. I had the white roller skates and totally had the ribbon barrettes in my hair. Olivia was iconic. Her songs were amazing. I remember in middle school, a group of us lip synced/performed the song Heartattack for our talent show. I pretended to play the keyboards. Great memories!!!!
I could name a gazillion Olivia songs that I absolutely love. The Promise (the Dolphin Song) and Silvery Rain are both amazing. In fact I think I love every song on the Physical album. And lets not forget Twist of Fate!!!! Or Please Mr. Please. OMG I'm probably going to listen to all of them over and over again for the next week or so.
I'm so glad I got to see her in concert at the Colorado State Fair. That was a fun night.

Tonight, I think I'm going to watch Xanadu and recapture the magic.

Thank you for the memories and great childhood Olivia Newton-John.
