Jay Cutler, former QB for Denver Broncos, was arrested for driving under the influence and gun possession Thursday night in Tennessee.
According to the police dept, he was involved in a minor traffic accident after rear-ending another vehicle. He was allegedly slurring his words and refuse a sobriety test at the scene. After obtaining a warrant, police took him to the hospital to get a blood sample.
The police searched his car and found two guns, one loaded pistol.
Cutler allegedly offered the other driver $2000 not to call the police, then tried to leave the scene.
Cutler was later taken into custody and charged with DUI, failure to exercise due care to avoid a collision, implied consent and possession of a handgun while under the influence.
After being booked into Williamson County Jail, Cutler was released on a $5,000 bond.
