Tough week and a half at the Oakland house. My dog, Bella, went in for a teeth cleaning and had to have a bunch of extractions. In the middle of that, my guinea pig, Nugget, stopped eating last weekend. We took him to the vet Monday. They ran some x-rays and found a huge bladder stone. Scheduled him for surgery, but he didn't make it thru the night. We loved that piggie so much. As we do all of our animals. So it just devastated us. Bella is having a little tough time recovering as well, but she is ok. I am so thankful to have such a caring and wonderful vet clinic. They love our animals as much as we do. Just had to share some pictures of my sweet Nugget. He was such a handsome piggie. Hope you enjoy. And I don't know about you...but I am ready for a long weekend. Even tho this Memorial Day will be completely different than what we are used to, I hope you are able find some joy and love in it. And remember to take a few moments to remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country. May they rest in peace and never be forgotten.
