The best part about carving pumpkins this time of year.....roasting pumpkin seeds!!!! So delicious and so nutritious! Pumpkin seeds contain omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, antioxidants and fiber. There are a ton of recipes you can try. Here is my tried and true favorite and it's so simple!
Ingredients
pumpkin seeds
1 and 1/2 tablespoons butter (melted)
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp garlic salt (or just garlic if you're like me and don't like it too salty)
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Directions
Mix together the butter, salt, garlic salt, Worcestershire sauce and pumpkin seeds. Spread out on a shallow baking sheet. bake in a 275 degree for one hour or until a golden brown. Make sure you stir occasionally while baking!
Enjoy!!
