San Diego Comic-Con will be virtual again this year, but organizers are planning for a smaller in-person event in November. Details have not yet been released. Comic-Con announced that this year's virtual event is going to be 3 days instead of the normal 4 and will take place on July 23rd-25th. Organizers said the pandemic left them "limited financial resources" which is why they had to reduce the number of days. Comic-Con normally brings more than 135,000 people to the Gaslamp district every year and it's not uncommon for thousands of people to gather in an exhibit hall for a panel discussion.
