It's the end of an era! Internet Explorer is officially retiring. Microsoft announced that it will no longer support the Internet browser. This doesn't come as a surprise considering that last year Microsoft said they were planning on getting rid of Internet Explorer on June 15, 2022, pushing users to its Edge browser. According to Sean Lyndersay, general manager of Microsoft Edge Enterprise,
“Not only is Microsoft Edge a faster, more secure and more modern browsing experience than Internet Explorer, but it is also able to address a key concern: compatibility for older, legacy websites and applications."
